Project: The technology department at the national research lab implemented NetPro’s DirectorAnalyzer product to better manage its network and enhance performance. The lab found, for example, that 8,000 desktop users with six-figure salaries would lose one day of productivity (worth approximately $3 million) each year while the technology staff resolved domain-name issues. The system allows the lab to enforce group policies, monitor desktops and troubleshoot the network with two workers.
